Dear all,

since I have been absent in the last call I write this mail to update the
group about the last developments on smart M3. 

To improve the usability and generality of the platform we are trying to
solve some issue to:

- Allow remote SIBs(i.e. that behind a firewall a proxy or a mobile
network) to be retrievable by a generic KP. This mechanism is done by a  
mapping SIB of support knew by both the kp and the remote SIB. On the
remote SIB there is a core service running to allow the flow of upcoming
and outgoing messages.

- Making a single query to a logical unit representing the content of a
variable number of SIBs. This mechanism is also performed with a Mapping
SIB which helps to maintain updated the structure of virtual SIBs.

- Discovery a SIB and its relevant properties (we are using a web service
based approach)

- Solve the known issue of the dimension of the SIB that grows with the
use (work at piglet level to manage some table that currently grows
monotonically)

The work is at good point on all the points also if currently we are at
the firsts test and so time will be needed to include these results on
some
release
